Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center (EMRTC) - a research and training division of New Mexico Tech in Socorro, New Mexico. EMRTC is a world-class leader in the research, development, testing and evaluation of energetic materials, as well as in training participants in a wide range of anti-terrorism and homeland protection skills. EMRTC conducts its activities in a 41 square mile field research laboratory. EMRTC is a proud member of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium. The NDPC is a professional alliance sponsored through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) National Preparedness Directorate to provide high-quality training to emergency responders throughout the United States and its territories.

The Institute for Complex Additive Systems Analysis (ICASA) is an academia, industry, and government cooperative venture. ICASA is dedicated to studying the behavior, vulnerabilities, and predictability of complex systems. ICASA's interdisciplinary approach delivers information age research, applies that research to real-world problems, and develops key enabling technologies.
