Welcome to the Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center (EMRTC), a division of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (New Mexico Tech) in Socorro, New Mexico. As one of several research divisions of New Mexico Tech, our focus is fundamental and applied research of energetic materials.

  Directions:
  From Albuquerque or Las Cruces, take I-25 to Exit 150 (north end of Socorro). Exit 150 will put you on California Street (Socorro's main business street) facing south. Proceed south to second stop light, "Bullock Street." Turn right between Taco Bell and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Pass three stop signs and you will enter campus, passing the sign for New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. As the road curves left, Macey Center will be on your right.
