Anti-Terrorism Assistance Program (ATAP)

These programs are conducted for the Department of State under a grant with New Mexico Tech and Louisiana State University (LSU). Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) under contract with LSU provides expert instructors and management assistance to deliver specialized training courses at EMRTC. EMRTC provides management support, technical support, and field facilities for the program. Participants of this program are screened and selected by the Department of State.

Length of Course:  35 Days
Total participants:  168/year
Type of Students:  Foreign Police and Security Officers that are providing security for their countries borders and facilities. Most of them have responsibilities that include protection of Americans in their countries.
